Johanna Kelley
Managing Attorney – CEO Founder
Johanna Kelley, founder of J Kelley Law Group, obtained her law degree in Colombia in 2001, where she practiced Labor, Constitutional, Administrative, Human Rights, International Law and International Business Law. Johanna also has Master in Public Policy and a Master of Law, both from Duke University.
She advised private companies, local and international human rights organizations, governmental agencies, the Colombian Army and grassroots community organizations, with a broad portfolio that included innovative initiatives and the improvement of Colombia’s image abroad. She prepared and accompanied cases of Colombian citizens before the Organization of American States (OAS). Johanna visits all J Kelley Law Group offices for in-person engagement with clients.
Olga Bratuhina
Associate Attorney
Olga Bratuhina is a bilingual attorney licensed to practice in the USA. Originally, she is from Kyrgyzstan and speaks English and Russian fluently. She earned her first law degree in Kyrgyzstan in 2016. Later in 2021, she received a law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law, with Corporate and Commercial Law concentration. Olga joined J Kelley Law Group in 2024.
During law school, she gained extensive experience in legal research and legal writing while working with the school’s professors.
Suly Ochoa
General Office Manager – Customer Services Specialist
Proud daughter of Urabá (land of the sun in Colombia), Suly Lorena Ochoa is a professional in Financial Administration from the Fundación de Estudios Superiores Universitarios (FESU).
Since joining J Kelley Law Group in February 2020, Suly has led customer service, finance, and business management efforts for the firm. She is dreamy, generous, proactive, and willing to undertake any responsibility that is necessary for the growth of the company.
Jessica López
Bilingual Senior Paralegal – North Carolina Office Manager
Jessica Lopez is a bilingual paralegal and manager of our J Kelley Law group Raleigh office in North Carolina. Originally from Peru, Jessica speaks English and Spanish fluently. She has over 15 years of experience in the immigration field, with significant experience in family-based immigration, deferred action, adjustment of status, consular processing, I-601 waivers, U visas, T visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), citizenship applications and deportation cases, among many others.
Juliana Uribe Gómez
Foreign attorney in Commercial Law and international trade & Bilingual Immigration Paralegal
Juliana is a bilingual lawyer, who received her degree from the University of Medellín, with a line of emphasis in Labor Law and Social Security. Through her many years with J Kelley Law Group, she has become a immigration law expert. Since she knew that knowing a second language would open doors to the best jobs and professional opportunities, she traveled to the United States as an exchange student to improve her English during her undergraduate studies.
Nicole Meza
Bilingual Legal Assistant – Maryland Office
Nicole Meza is a bilingual legal assistant at J Kelley Law Group’s Maryland office. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honors and Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, along with a minor in Public Leadership.
As a first-generation daughter of Mexican and Venezuelan parents, Nicole brings cultural understanding and fluency in English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with clients and guide them through the legal process with care and confidence.
Stephani Portillo Ordóñez
Bilingual paralegal – Maryland Office Manager
Stephani Portillo Ordoñez is a member of J Kelley Law Group in our Maryland office. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Affairs and French, she joined the team as a bilingual paralegal.
She is originally from El Salvador, however she received her education in the United States. Therefore, she is happy to provide you guidance in both English or Spanish.
Andrea Celis
Bilingual Administrative Assistant
Andrea Celis is of Mexican descent and has had the fortune to live in the United States and Mexico, which allows her to understand both cultures perfectly, and thus provide an integral service to our international clients. Andrea is a member of the J Kelley Law Group Maryland office.
Valentina Kelley
Bilingual Paralegal
Valentina Kelley is a bilingual paralegal with J Kelley Law Group. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in French and a pre-law focus from the University of Southern California. Her academic background has strengthened her skills in research, analysis, and communication.
Originally from Colombia, Valentina has lived in the United States for most of her life and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She works remotely and is dedicated to assisting clients and supporting the firm.
